How did you get into designing with repurposed luxury scarves?
I call the brand my “Covid baby” because it was born during the pandemic amidst the quarantine. While scouring designer resale sites like The Real Real, I began to notice an abundance of old men’s pocket squares, neckties and ladies scarves and began to think about ways to dust them off and give them a new life.

Do you have a favorite scarf from your collection?
I have so many favorites, but one of the first pocket squares I found when I first began collecting which happens to be now hanging over my kitchen sink. It’s a colorful Provençal Farmhouse scene and it just makes me smile every time I see it.

Where's your go-to spot for vintage hunting? Any hidden gems you've discovered?
My scarves come from all over the world! Thanks to the rise of online resale platforms, but i definitely like to support local businesses by shopping local consignment and thrift stores wherever I go. Dina C’s in West Palm Beach is vintage Chanel heaven

Do you have a style muse or favorite fashion era that inspires your designs?
Truthfully, every brand that I repurpose inspires me in very different ways. A shirt made from 70’s YSL scarves will have an extremely different vibe than a Chanel or Gucci from the same era. Each of my pieces tells its own story and my real muses are always the individuals who end up finding one of my piece that speaks to them, because that’s when the garments really come to life once more.

What is your collaboration process like with local communities for J Logan Home?
Since the onset, I have prioritized working with as many local small businesses as possible. All of my production is based in and around the Palm Beach area. It brings me great joy to be able to support small “mom & pop” companies and work with them in a very personal, thoughtful way. This all plays into the specialness of each of my creations, you know that when you’re buying it, you’re never going to see anything like it again.
