Vivia Ferragamo: A Free Spirit Splash of Swimwear

Vivia Ferragamo, the granddaughter of the iconic Salvatore Ferragamo, is breathing new life into the fashion world through her unique approach to design and sustainability. Rooted in her family’s legacy but distinctly her own, Vivia’s creative process is a vibrant tapestry woven from diverse influences, from the mundane to the extraordinary.

Join us as Vivia talks to us about where she draws inspiration, her Roman roots and her commitment to environmental consciousness.

Tell us about your creative process?
My creative process is all about what’s around me, it could be a new series on TV or a trip where I’m in contact with wonderful new cultures. A fabulous vintage piece, a magnificent old lady carrying something precious to her. A vibe, a color – a song or a mixture of these together.

I like to work with materials no longer in use and give them a new life. And what I absolutely love most is putting them together unexpectedly.

What is your favorite place in the world? What do you like about it?
My home – Rome – my wooden floors, my stones, my Wanda Roses, my Peonie wallpaper, the seagulls in the background.

What music is playing in the background when you're designing?
I love Brazilian music or proper disco dancing to uplift and get me in the vibe with my clothing.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be and how would you use it?
I would love to have the superpower of always being in touch with my spirit without outside interference.

Can you recommend a book?
I recommend to everyone my grandfather’s biography The Shoemaker of Dreams, it is an absolute MUST.
